Update: (October 21, 2014) Detectives have made an arrest in the Northbridge Apartment case involving a 10-year-victim. The suspect was identified as 16-year-old, Angel Viera. According to detectives, Viera was identified from a tip they received. After questioning him, detectives learned Viera lived nearby where the crime occurred. Viera was charged with False Imprisonment and Attempted Lewd Molestation before being transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center. Also, detectives have learned the suspect shown in the original release was not the same person. They are still searching for the suspect responsible for the Super Target (4750 Millenia Plaza Way) case involving a 12-year-old victim.

Incident: On October 6, 2014, at 10:22 p.m., an unknown light skinned, possibly Hispanic male suspect approached a 12 year old boy in the toy department of the Super Target located at 4750 Millenia Plaza Way. The suspect approached the victim and asked him to give him a kiss him, but the victim refused. However, the suspect kissed the victim on the mouth and ran out of the store. The suspect was believed to be approximately 20 years old, wearing a black tee shirt with pink writing, and black sweat pants.
Another incident occurred on October 9, 2014, at 3:51 p.m., in the Northbridge apartment,complex. A light skinned Hispanic male, lured a 10 year old victim, who suffers from mild autism, into the community pool bathroom.
The suspect locked the door once they were inside the bathroom. He tried to remove the victim’s belt, the boy screamed, and the suspect unlocked the bathroom door. The victim exited the bathroom and got away from the suspect. The suspect was described as wearing a white tank top and black/white basketball shorts. Based on the information obtained from both cases, detectives believe it is likely the same suspect responsible for both crimes. The investigators also believe the suspect may reside in the Millenia area.
